November 09, 2024 - The Jazz Institute of Chicago presented "Dear Jazz 2024", two jazz-themed evenings celebrating top visual artists and musicians at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. Music Saturday night was performed by the Millie Ahearn Octagyn featuring Ahearn trumpet/piano, Alyssa Allgood vocals, Kyle Brooks reeds, Abram Collier winds/vocals, Emma Blau trombone, Joshua Achiron guitars, Elio Adriano piano, Jesse Lear bass, and Kabir Dalawari drums & cymbals. Visual artist Arthur Wright created original art in response to the performance.
