Marlene Rosenberg Trio Performs Mingus, Mitchell, and Mowtown at FSC


9/14/21 - Marlene Rosenberg’s Trio performed music by Mingus, Mitchell, and Mowtown at Chris Anderson’s Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. The band chose selections from Charles Mingus’ “Nostalgia in Times Square”, Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” and Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Goin On” weaving improvisation and rhythm into the many archways of music. Marlene Rosenberg bass, Scott Hesse guitar, and Kyle Swan drums. Visual artist Alex Puryear created artwork in response to the music.
