On July 19, 2017, Chris Anderson's Jazz Record Art Collective in Chicago presented the Joe Policastro Septet performing Oliver Nelson’s 1961 release THE BLUE AND THE ABSTRACT TRUTH.
The band included Joe Policastro on bass, Victor Garcia trumpet, Greg Ward alto sax, Chris Madsen tenor sax, Ted Hogarth bari sax, Jeremy Kahn piano, and Mikel Avery on drums.
