The Chad McCullough Group performed Miles Davis’s 1970 classic recording, “Bitches Brew”, at Chris Anderson’s Jazz Record Art Collective, JRAC, in Chicago.
“Thought by many to be among the most revolutionary albums in jazz history, Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew solidified the genre known as jazz-rock fusion …(and) is so forward-thinking that it retains its freshness and mystery in the 21st century.” Thom Juke.
The band consisted of Chad McCullough trumpet, Geof Bradfield tenor, Zoey Szmulewitz guitar, Vijay Tellis-Nayak keyboards, John Christensen bass,Wayne Salzmann II drums, Chris Baker drums. Visual artist Alex Puryear created artwork in response to the music.
