Jazz Photo Recap: Somaluna Performs at Fulton Street Collective photos by Harvey Tillis

Somaluna, the Chicago-based vocal collective championing voices of female composers and arrangers performed an exciting set at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. The group includes Alyssa Allgood, Kat Sherman, Lizzi Trumbore and Callandra Youngleson and specializes in contemporary small group singing. They were backed by Jake Shapiro piano, Katie Ernst bass, and Jon Deitemyer drums & cymbals.


Visual artist Melanie Brown created an original painting in response to the music.
