Guitarist George Freeman is part of Chicago Jazz Royalty and is still going strong as he releases a new recording, celebrates his birthday at the Green Mill Jazz Club and continues to compose music without slowing down.
On Episode 051 of Around Town with Mike Jeffers, George talks about recording his new release “The Good Life” on HighNote Records which features Joey DeFrancesco, Lewis Nash, Christian McBride and Carl Allen. He also talks about continuing to compose, record, perform and how keeping the groove is the most important part of his music!
