On the fourth night of Jazz Record Art Collective's month-long tribute to Herbie Hancock, EMPYREAN ISLES (released in 1964) was performed by the Rob Clearfield Quartet. The Quartet included Rob Clearfield - Keyboards, Russ Johnston - Trumpet, Curt Bley - Bass, Marcus Evans - Drums.
